Hi Ginger would you like to introduce yourself to our readers?
Hi I’m Ginger, I’m a Mexican tattoo lover living a quiet life in a small town.

Is it a hobby for you being a model for Instagram?
Yes, I started uploading photos just for fun and apparently I started to have a good acceptance.

GInger, tattoo model
GInger, tattoo model

How did tattooing fit into your world?
At the beginning when I started about 15 years ago, it was a little difficult because I live in a small town so people saw me strange and it was also difficult to get work and stuff, so I started working on my own which turned out very well. Now that there are many platforms there’s more access to information, the whole world of tattooing is more visible and has better acceptance plus having all kinds of customers for my work they realize that a person is not defined only by what you see …

GInger, tattoo model
GInger, tattoo model

What does tattoo art represent for you?
A way of expressing myself and an extension of myself.

The tattoos you have on your arms, chest and neck, are clearly visible and are in total ornamental black. What does your backpiece represent?
Well, I have a cicada and an elephant which are my favorite insect and animal. Basically they remind me of part of my childhood….

GInger, tattoo model

How do you choose your tattoo artists?
First I listen to recommendations and then I look at their work, mostly I use Instagram and see if their portfolio fits what I’m looking for.

What do you do for a living?
I like to call myself a hair artist. I do fabulous hair and I have my own little private studio.

I noticed that you really like travelling, is that correct?
That’s right. I hope to see the whole world someday! I also enjoy doing outdoor activities such as camping and being able to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and reconnect with myself.

GInger, tattoo model

Will you reveal the good and bad points about yourself?
I think it would be a bad thing when the impostor syndrome takes hold of me, the good thing is that I consider myself an intelligent person who looks for solutions and I can get out of any situation quickly….

And finally, the phrase you tell yourself in the morning when you wake up to start your day at best, what is it?
I deserve everything good and everything I desire I can have it.

110+ Raptor Tattoos Designs (2023)

Raptor tattoos are popular because the Eoraptor is considered the ancestor of all dinosaur species.

Are you also fan of Dromaeosauridaes aka Raptors? When it comes to dinosaur tattoos, nothing makes a bolder statement than a raptor. Raptors are the most iconic dinosaurs, usually depicted as fierce and dangerous predators that ruled their prehistoric world specially the Cretaceous period.

Jurassic Park movies introduced us to the T-rex sub-species of Raptors and ever since then, people want to try unique and symbolic raptor tattoos.

Raptor Tattoo Ideas

On average we find a new dinosaur species every fourth week. Most of these species belong to the Raptor genus. If we follow this average then you will probably never run out of raptor tattoo ideas. However, we have listed here some of our favorites:

1. The classic: Try a traditional design that features a ferocious-looking raptor in profile, with its claws reaching out threateningly from its body. A great option for someone who loves old-school style designs.

2. Minimalist design: For those who prefer simpler tattoos, a minimalist design featuring just the outline of a raptor might be a perfect choice. A great way to show you love dinosaurs without going over the top.

3. Prehistoric landscape: Go for a design that features a detailed landscape, complete with rolling hills, trees, and rivers – all populated by a flock of raptors. This a great option for those who love big and bold tattoos that tell a story.

4. Raptor silhouette: For something minimalist and simple, try one tattoo featuring just the outline of a raptor in flight. Ask the artist to use stark black lines will make it stand out while still giving off an air of mystery.

5. Tribal raptor: I strongly advise opting for a tribal version – A stunning tattoo that combines traditional tribal patterns with the iconic shape of a dinosaur’s skeleton to create something novel and eye-catching.

6. Watercolor raptor: If you are a fan of bright colors, try a design featuring a brilliant blue raptor with red and yellow accents. This tattoo makes certain to knock some people’s socks off.

7. Jurassic Park: Fans of the classic movie “Jurassic Park” will love such a tattoo featuring the iconic logo from the film. The perfect way to show your love for dinosaurs and movies alike.

8. Hunting raptors: If you want something that looks like it came straight out of prehistory, opt for a tattoo featuring a pack of raptors hunting their prey.

9. Up close and personal: A Raptor close-up tattoo might not be everyone’s cup of tea but again if you want to try something unique then this might be the best idea from the list. Ask your artist to make it look as realistic as possible.

10. Realistic raptor: And since we are talking about realistic designs why not try a full-size T-Rex? There are several raptor sub-species and among them, T-rex is the most popular. The apex predator should be your choice for a realistic version.

11. Disney raptor: Disney has made many movies (and TV shows) on dinosaurs. You will find many raptor species from that media. You can base your tattoo designs on any of your favorite cartoon dinosaurs from Disney.

12. Winged raptor: I bet the flying dinosaur was the scariest animal that ever existed on our planet. Our scientists have simulated various scenarios to understand power balance in the prehistoric era and it turned out Flying Raptors were the deadliest animals. This symbolism makes it a perfect choice for a tattoo design.

13. A realistic depiction of a Velociraptor. This fierce creature (or should I say apex predator)was famously featured in the Jurassic Park films and is sure to make an impactful statement if included in a tattoo design.

14. How about a beautiful portrayal of a Deinonychus, showcasing its distinctive “sickle claw” on each foot? This would be an excellent centerpiece for a tattoo design. The Sickle claw would represent fearlessness and a ruthless attitude.

15. Imagine a breathtaking depiction of the Cretaceous period, complete with a diverse array of dinosaurs and even a few pterodactyls. This tattoo piece would be truly awe-inspiring and could be extended beautifully across multiple parts of the body.

16. Create a tattoo utilizing two separate species of dinosaurs in the same scene, such as the Allosaurus or Utahraptor paired up with another fearsome predator.

17. Include other creatures in the mix, such as dilophosaurus or Archaeopteryx, to create an ancient ecosystem on your body. We find a new dinosaur species every other month. You can add the newest species as a motif in your tattoo design.

Raptor Tattoos Meanings and Symbolisms

Raptor tattoos featuring dinosaurs can hold a significant personal meaning for the wearer. They can represent strength, resilience, and power for some, while for others, they may symbolize ferocity and courage. Either way, they make for a powerful and meaningful tattoo design.

They can also serve to remind us of our place in nature or simply act as an homage to our favorite dinosaur species.

Some people even choose to get multiple raptor tattoos representing different species to pay tribute to the diversity of prehistoric life.

Regardless of the interpretation, one thing is certain – dinosaur raptor tattoos will always captivate onlookers with their grandiose ferocity and sheer beauty.

Whether it’s a fierce Velociraptor or a gentle Triceratops, these majestic creatures have left an indelible mark on the human imagination and heart. We will let the designs talk for themselves. So just dive right into our photo gallery and see for yourself how beautiful these designs are:

Child Portrait Tattoo by Eddy Zabor

Portrait Child tattoo on Chest by Eddy Zabor

Portrait tattoos are tricky, bad we’ve seen more bad portrait tattoos than we have good ones. That’s especially true when baby and children tattoos are concerned. Their facial features are much less prominent, it’s all soft lines and round surfaces. That makes kids cute, but also very difficult to draw.

Not a problem for Eddy Zabor, this Germany based tattoo artists knocks those baby tats out of the park!
